Saturday morning. Every minute of sleep counts. If you have young ones at home you know how those extra five minutes on the weekend mornings are precious. This weekend I actually gained about 10 minutes, and I got up with a huge smile.
This is how:
I didn’t send the girls (2+5) to Oren (my husband), because he sleeps like a log, and I would only get more aggravated by him not hearing a thing. I also didn’t turn the TV on. I simply left all the craft supply from the night before spread on the table, ready for them to pick up where we left. Zoe took charge of Ori (she loves doing that when I am not available) not in a bossy way but in a very nurturing and mature way. Assisting her with glue and paint and folding. I got my extra minutes of sleep + holiday cards ready to be mailed + listening to some great sisterhood talk.
I was a winner.
